Nothing has changed in thirty years as I have enjoyed March Madness as both a kid and as an adult. The only thing that has changed is responsibilities and the fact that I have a harder time now watching the late Thursday games due to work the next day. One of the games I remember is the 1989 game beteen NC State and Georgetown. With cofficiating being a hot topic in Wolfpack land it is interesting that the part vivid in my mid is the controversial call (occurs at the 6:15 mark), and the look on Chris Corchiani's face as the basket was waved off. As a UNC graduate I must say this was a call that should not have gone against the Wolfpack, and the Hoyas may have marched on however it would have been fun to see how the game would have ended had that play been Alonzo Mourning's fifth foul instead of a travel? Unfortunately that ending can never be played out, but will happen is the Wolfpack will have a chance to beat Georgetown to advance back to sweet sixteen. That can never make up for the call against the 1989 team, but it can bring a little joy to those who don the Red and White.
