1. The "Four Corners" series we have been publishing recently does not have a fifth spot and for the first time in years neither does North Carolina. Desmond Hubert gets the starts yet watching Hubert play on the offensive end is offensive. Joel James has the size, but he has the footwork of an elephant in ballet shoes. Bryce Johnson has exhibited the most offensive skill but the lanky post player lacks defensive consistency.
2. Wisconsin plays some brutal half court basketball and can be boring for anyone who is not a fan of the Badgers. Thanks Dick Bennett for passing down this style to Tony Bennett who is now at Virginia. The Virginia offense is about as exciting as a Tom O'brien recruiting class. Oh well I guess it fits that Tom O'Brien is heading back to be an assistant coach at UVa.
3. For some reason I believe Seth Greenberg has been lingering in Chapel Hill. What else can explain the shot selection the Tar Heels have exhibited this season.
4. Jay William, formerly Jason Williams, kept stating what an offensive juggernaut the Tar Heels have been this year. Jay should do better homework as in losses against the only three quality opponents this year the Tar heels have been averaging 65 points per game. Hardly a high octane offense. Perhaps Jay doesn't want to be seen as a Tar Heel hater, but he could take a lesson from another Jay. Jay Bilas is hard on Duke and UNC which is why Tar Heel fans respect Bilas.
